New Courses for 2017/18

What’s New ?    We’ve  been keeping a close eye on developments in our field in recent months . One major change is the requirement to increase the opportunity to train with practice AED’s on First Aid courses. The widespread availability of AED’s in the community ( coupled with slower emergency service response times) makes this training essential to improving out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rates  . Conwy Training have invested in several new AED trainers in order to enable learners to gain more hands on experience during training courses .

Having arrived back in the UK at the end of August we’ve wasted no time in cracking on with staff training across North Wales . The start of the school term is always a popular time for updating staff with First Aid qualifications . We’ve been out in day nurseries in Conwy County with further training lined up for businesses in North Wales this week . Here , we run closed courses offering  a full range of both Paediatric and First Aid at Work qualifications . On site training courses offer a really affordable option for training large numbers of staff – typically under £30 per person .

Heading Outdoors ?   Traditionally, the winter months are when the Outdoor Instructors and leaders want to renew their first aid quals. So, once again we are running several Rescue Emergency Care ( REC ) 2 Day courses at Nant BH Outdoor Education Centre near Llanrwst . These are practical courses aimed at anyone working in the outdoors or spending time in potentially remote locations . They’re popular with instructors, teachers, leaders and outdoor enthusiasts looking for a step up from a standard first aid course.

Dates : October 9 & 10 , November 27 & 28 , December 16 & 17

Costs : £100 per person
